On November 27, Li Yongxi, Chairman of Guangzhou Zhiguang Electric Co., Ltd. (“Zhiguang Electric”), accompanied Feng Guangjun, Director and First-Level Inspector of the Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan, and Overseas Affairs Committee of the Guangzhou Municipal CPPCC, and Xiao Chunhui, Member of the Huangpu District Party Committee and Minister of the United Front Work Department, as they led a delegation of overseas Chinese representatives to visit the Yonghe campus of Guangzhou Zhiguang Energy Storage Technology Co., Ltd. The visit aimed to enhance understanding of Huangpu District’s green energy development and strengthen cooperation in the new energy sector across the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

This visit, organized by the United Front Work Department of Huangpu District, highlighted the important role overseas Chinese play in building connections at home and abroad. The delegation gained a clearer view of the district’s latest progress in the new energy industry.

As a leading provider of digital energy technology and integrated energy services in the Greater Bay Area, Zhiguang Electric has developed a new energy storage industrial park at the Yonghe campus. As a key provincial project, the park has become a showcase for the region’s green energy development.

Guided by Chairman Li Yongxi, the delegation toured the park’s intelligent production lines and learned about its development plan, which focuses on building a “zero-carbon campus + Guangdong Provincial Key Laboratory + core demonstration base for new energy storage.”

The visitors spoke highly of Zhiguang Electric’s technological innovation and its practical applications. They noted that the visit offered a more direct and comprehensive understanding of the new energy industry in Huangpu District and the Greater Bay Area.

Huangpu District has identified green energy as one of its five major industrial clusters, each targeting a scale of 100 billion yuan. With strong market demand and research capabilities, the district has made significant progress in user-side energy storage and has several large independent storage projects included in provincial planning.

This visit not only showcased Zhiguang Electric’s strengths in energy storage but also provided a valuable platform for deeper collaboration in the region’s new energy industry. Looking ahead, Zhiguang Electric will continue to advance its leading cascade high-voltage storage technology, expand its zero-carbon smart campus, and drive innovation across the full industry chain, contributing to the “dual-carbon” goal and the development of a modern power system.
